Een mysterieuze vrouw ontsnapt aan een verkeersongeluk met een tas vol geld, maar zonder haar geheugen. Ondertussen is Betty Elms in L.A. verschenen, in de hoop een filmcarrière te kunnen beginnen. Wanneer Betty de naamloze vrouw in haar appartement vindt, besluit ze haar te helpen. De twee vrouwen gaan op een bizarre zoektocht naar de waarheid.
